Key ingredients of effective interventions

The Australian Institute of Family Studies undertook an analysis of the first 57 validated promising practice profiles published by CAFCA to identify the "key ingredients" of effective interventions in the following areas:

  1. Parenting and family support
  2. Parenting support for young parents
  3. Early learning and care
  4. Supporting "first-time" mothers
  5. School readiness
  6. Supporting children with additional needs
  7. Supporting "at risk" youth
  8. Capacity-building for service providers and enhancement of service provision
  9. Community "hubs"
  10. Social inclusion initiatives
