A Data Workshop will be held on Wednesday 2 December, the day prior to the 2nd LSAC Research Conference.
The focus of the Workshop is to assist users of the data, those considering becoming users, or those who are interested in learning more about LSAC data, to gain confidence in understanding and navigating the LSAC datasets.
The Workshop will cover the following topics, designed to give a comprehensive overview of the conduct of the study, its datasets and supporting documentation:
- Study methodology
- Introduction to the LSAC datasets
- Data analysis issues (ie confidentialisation, weighting, clustering etc.)
- Variable naming
- User resources (including data dictionary)
The needs of the registrants for this workshop will be taken into account, where possible, in designing the program.

Places will be limited at the workshop, but a waiting list will be maintained.
