Cancellation and privacy statement

Registration - Conference

Cancellations of conference registrations received by the Australian Institute of Family Studies (AIFS) in writing by Friday, 30 October 2009 will be accepted and full registration fees refunded. Cancellations cannot be accepted after this date and refunds will not be available. Registrations may be transferred to another person. The personal details of the replacement person must be provided in writing to the 2nd LSAC Research Conference Coordinator at AIFS prior to the event. No refunds will be made for non-attendance at the conference.

Registration - Workshop

Cancellations of workshop registrations received by the Australian Institute of Family Studies in writing by Friday, 27 November 2009 will be accepted and full registration fees refunded. No refunds will be made after that date or for non-attendance at the workshop. Transfers to another person are permitted at any time prior to the event.

The Australian Institute of Family Studies (AIFS) is bound by and committed to supporting the Information Privacy Principles (IPPs) set out in the Privacy Act 1988.

Information collected in respect of proposed participation in any aspect of the Conference or Workshop will only be used for the purposes of planning and conduct of the Conference and Workshop, to assist with planning and development of future AIFS conferences and events, and for the compilation and analysis of attendance statistics. Unless consent is withheld, this information may also be used by AIFS for promotion of future conferences, events and activities.

AIFS will also produce a Delegates List of conference attendees containing such information as name, position, affiliation, and email address. Registrants may withhold consent for inclusion of their details in this publication.
