Next data user workshop

A data user workshop for Growing Up in Australia: The Longitudinal Study of Australian Children will be held on Tuesday 6 July, the day prior to the 11th Australian Institute of Family Studies Conference.
The focus will be to assist users of the data, those considering becoming users, or those who are interested in learning more about LSAC data, to gain confidence in understanding and navigating the LSAC datasets.
The following topics will be covered, designed to give a comprehensive overview of the conduct of the study, its datasets and supporting documentation:
- Study methodology
- Introduction to the LSAC datasets
- Data analysis issues (i.e. Confidentialisation, weighting, clustering etc.)
- Variable naming
- User resources (including data dictionary)
The needs of the registrants for this workshop will be taken into account, where possible, in designing the program.

Places will be limited but a waiting list will be maintained.
