Explanatory notes
The increase in expenditure from the previous year for legal services is due to:
- The financial management of the Institute transferred from the Commonwealth Authorities and Companies Act 1997 to the Financial Management and Accountability Act 1997 as of 1 July 2006 which increased ongoing costs, particularly related to compliance and reporting.
- The physical relocation of the Institute to part Level 19 and Level 20, 485 La Trobe Street, Melbourne on 28 February 2007.
