As part of Australia's National Youth Suicide Prevention Strategy 1995-1999, the Australian Institute of Family Studies was engaged by the Commonwealth Department of Health and Aged Care to address the information and communication needs of those involved in youth suicide prevention via the Communications Project; and to evaluate the Strategy.
