The Family Trends and Transitions project analyses and disseminates information on broad trends in patterns of leaving home, couple and family formation, family stability and family dissolution and re-formation.
The monitoring and analysis of these trends informs policy development and the timely design of research projects. Family-related trend data is disseminated through the Family Facts and Figures online database and through publications, presentations and the media.
