The Time Use in Families project explores adults’ and children’s time use to better understand those factors that contribute to family members’ wellbeing through the way they spend their time. It includes analyses of interactions between work and family.
Several ongoing research streams are aligned to this project, including analysis of parental time with children and infants’ time use (particularly breastfeeding), and also adults’ time use and experience of time pressure.
The project leverages existing data sources, including data from LSAC and Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) time use data.
