Biography

Dr Julie Lahausse joined AIFS in 2011 and is currently working on the Stronger Families in Australia study, which is evaluating the impact of the Communities for Children (CfC) and Communities for Children Plus (CfC Plus) initiatives, on child, family and community outcomes. 

Prior to joining AIFS, Julie has worked in a number of research roles, including in the road safety and organisational psychology fields, and has been registered as a Psychologist. Her Doctoral thesis investigated the physical and psychological benefits associated with corporate fitness centres.

Julie has authored over 30 peer- and non-peer review journal articles, conference papers and reports, with a selected sample shown below.
