Biography

Dr Jodie Lodge is an educational and developmental psychologist and research fellow at the Australian Institute of Family Studies. Jodie has managed a number of research studies for the Institute, including mostly recently, a longitudinal study of separated families in Australia and a study of adolescents’ experiences after the 2006 reforms to the family law system.  She is regularly invited to speak to professional groups and has presented her research both nationally and internationally. Jodie is registered with the Psychology Board of Australia (PBA) and has been endorsed as an expert educational and developmental psychologist by the Board. She is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and the APS College of Educational and Developmental Psychologists. She is on the Editorial Board of The Australian Educational and Developmental Psychologist - an official journal of The Australian Psychological Society.  Uniquely, Jodie is both a specialist practitioner and researcher, with a particular interest in issues relating to children, adolescents and their families. Much of her work is concerned with the application of research findings to inform professional practice and policy.
