Biography
Sebastian Misson has spent the last 5 years working at the Australian Institute of Family Studies, primarily working on the Longitudinal Study of Australian Children for which he currently holds the position of Data Manager.
As well in undertaking general data management tasks, he has co-authored papers on weighting and non-response and the calculation of the LSAC Outcome Index. He has also participated in research commissioned by the Commonwealth Department of Families, Community Services, Housing and Indigenous Affairs using the Outcome Index to examine key factors influencing the development of Australian children.
Prior to working at AIFS, he worked on national quantitative research projects at both the Australian Council for Educational Research and the Australian Research Centre for Sex, Health and Society.
