Biography

Sharnee joined AIFS in 2011 after several years of working in policy development and program management, particularly in relation to separated families and child support. 

Specialist areas

• Socio-legal and gender issues, particularly in relation to family and criminal law

Current research activities

• Sharnee is currently working on research concerning the role of social networking and mobile phone technologies in sexual violence and a scoping study for a national survey of children and young people in out-of-home care.
