Growing Up in Australia: The Longitudinal Study of Australian Children

Kristen Power is a Senior Research Officer in the Longitudinal Study of Australian Children research and analysis team. Her background is in demography, with a primary focus on migration studies and migrant integration.

Kristen previously worked as a data analyst at the Australian Bureau of Statistics, working primarily in the areas of health, mental health and migration statistics. Through this work, she gained extensive experience with survey and administrative data analysis.

Kristen is currently completing a PhD in Demography at the Australian National University. Her research examines factors affecting the integration process for humanitarian migrants in Australia, using data from the Building a New Life in Australia study and the Australian Census and Migrants Integrated Dataset. Kristen has a particular interest in the analysis of longitudinal survey data.
